What we collect
- Request details you give us: your name, mobile number, the trailer you want, pickup and return dates, pickup county, and anything you type in the notes.
- Calls: your phone number, the time of the call, and a recording of the call after the recorded-call notice. Voicemails are recorded and may be transcribed.
- Site usage: pages viewed, the price version you were shown, which county page you landed on, the language you used, and, if you arrived from an ad, the ad click identifier. We use Google Analytics for this. It sets cookies in your browser.
- Cookies we set ourselves: one that remembers which price version you were shown so prices stay consistent across pages, one that remembers your language choice, and one that carries the ad click identifier to the form. Each expires after 90 days.
What we use it for
- To confirm availability and price for your request and to arrange pickup and return.
- To call or text you about your request. Texts are sent only if you ticked the consent box on the form or asked us to text you.
- To measure how the site and our advertising perform, in aggregate.
Text messages
By ticking the consent box you agree to receive text messages from Triangle Trailers about your rental request, reservations, pickup and return, payments, and customer support. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help. Reply STOP to opt out. We do not sell or share your mobile number or your text-message consent with third parties for their marketing.
Who we share it with
Only the service providers that run this site for us: our website and email hosting, our customer records system, our phone and text provider, and Google Analytics. Each receives only what it needs to do its job. We do not sell personal information.
How long we keep it
Request details and call records are kept while we are dealing with your request and for our records afterwards. Ask us to delete them and we will, unless we need them to complete or account for a rental.
Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to stop texts.
- Block cookies in your browser; the site still works, you may see prices reset.
- Ask us what we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by calling or texting (919) 804-0643.
Children
This site is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new date.
