What happens after I send the form?
You get a text confirming whether the trailer is available for your dates and what it will cost, usually within the hour during business hours. Nothing is charged when you request.
Is there a deposit?
Most trailer rentals take a refundable deposit or a card hold at pickup. We tell you the exact amount when we confirm, before you commit to anything.
Do I need insurance?
In most cases your own auto policy covers liability for a trailer you are towing. Check with your carrier for damage coverage on the trailer itself; we explain the options when we confirm.
What hitch and vehicle do I need?
Utility and enclosed trailers usually need a 2 inch ball and a half-ton truck or larger SUV. Car haulers, dump and equipment trailers need a 2-5/16 inch ball, a 3/4-ton or larger truck, and a working brake controller. Each trailer page lists what it needs.
Do I need a special licence?
No. A standard North Carolina driver licence covers trailers under 10,001 lb GVWR. Heavier equipment trailers can push a combination above that, so check your truck and trailer weights together.
Is there a mileage limit?
Local rentals normally have no mileage limit. If you are planning a long haul, say so in the notes and we confirm it with your price.
What if I return it late?
Late returns are charged at the daily rate. If you need an extra day, text us before your return time and we extend it if the trailer is not booked next.
